Samyang 21mm f1.4 review

I am not big into writing reviews about lenses or cameras, but I love my Samyang 21mm f1.4 lens so much that I thought I’d put something up on my website. It’s a lens that isn’t very popular and subsequently there aren’t that many good sample photos up online. The few photos that Dustin Abbott uploaded to his webpage are actually what made me order this lens. I’ve felt naked without it ever since.

Have a look at my page, there are plenty of portraits too, something that is so often missing in reviews, and they’re not photos of my (thankfully non-existant) children. Looking at all reviewers ever here!

These are almost all photos from professional shoots; from communions, to MMA, to live events etc. Tons of different stuff.

I’d be more than happy to answer any questions too.

Vintage Lens

Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
