As far as I can tell, glamour is all about helping someone look and feel their absolute best. As you can see from this shot, my subject here didn't have many of the curves that you might expect from a glamour shoot, so some of my go-to approaches to the shoot didn't work the same way. Though I feel pretty good about what I've done with lighting/posing to help her look her best, I am curious, do any of you have any techniques or suggestions for working with multiple body types within this style of photography?
I new at photography and I'm only passing on something I was once told. Less light and to give the appearance of curves angle the subject.
You answered your techniques or suggestions in the first sentence: glamour is all about helping someone look and feel their absolute best. Call it instinct and stick with that approach and you'll continue to get awesome shots like this one of Ivy.
