shadow<- no right foot tucked back <- harsh shadow lines on upper thigh and right hand. Flash glare/reflection in picture in back<- NO If you can get her again try a reshoot and take your time. A second light to fill in the background would yield good things.
The picture has edge. A lot has happened in photography since the 80s. 70s. Whatever. Even Playboy's insta is full of shots that don't obey those tired old rules - and who wants to be less hip than Playboy???
>> try a reshoot and take your time
I think you have no idea what the guy was trying to do. This was a very deliberate shot - look at the muscle tension, the torso twist, the superb work on skin, the hair lit so it continues the flatness of the fabric. You're critiquing a grunge band on the assumption they should be playing polka music.
The flare is possibly a too-obvious example of wabi-sabi, but only possibly.
The placing of the watermark over the sock is just irritating though...
A snapshot is a snapshot no matter how you or anyone else describes it. This shot has no originality, no craftsmanship. It could have been taken by any acne inflicted pubescent with a girl, a cheap motel room and a camera.
Of course it does. I detailed several instances of how the shot has been very carefully crafted. (Which you seem unable to respond to, probably because you don't understand them.)
You might not like the shot - but I think a sensible person would file that under "Who cares?"

And your post could have been written by any aging obese Jabba The Hutt clone in a Rascal scooter. Because acne and obesity - and age - are irrelevant here. The guy has talent and edge however old he is and whether or not he has a skin condition. And that it doesn't match your tastes has nothing to do with your waist circumference. So try not to resort to ageism and body fascism, hmm?

This isn't figure skating.
