I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.

I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

Hey Vero!
I like the interesting perspective that you are using for the shot! Well done on lighting her so that she is well separated from the background! I think I am getting a little thrown off by the square crop (I could see a 1/2 body shot with her shoulders included with some negative space above her really adding to the shot). The only other thing that I would try and get rid off would be that stray set of hairs under your subjects hand!
