And it was indoors. I read his post on doing this indoors and thought I would try it for my church's staff photos. I set up in two spots. One was in the doorway to the sanctuary with the stage lit in the background, the other was in the foyer with the hallway and side doors in the distance. Thanks for any feedback!
nice work I like them, my favorites would have to be the first and fourth and I think they are very similar to the Cinematic headshots

I like the shots. Very nice work. I'm curious ... you reference D Patrick's 'cinematic headshot' as the inspiration for these. Were you using a 200mm lens as he does? Looking at the compression level of your backgrounds, I'm guessing you used an 85mm. Please know, this is not a criticism in any way ... I sincerely like the images ... it's just an observation and I was curious.
Hey Mark, thanks. Actually, I was using my 70-300mm on a 60D. Most of these were at 110-120mm. So with the crop factor it was close to 200mm.
