I've just started dabbling in flash/strobe photography and headshot photos. After a few years of shooting mostly landscapes and street, using flash and a studio setting is a major game changer for me.
The particulars on this shot is a monolight through a 36" softbox camera left, a speedlight camera right through an umbrella at 1/128th power for fill, and a couple of speedlights at 1/2 power left and right aimed at the wall to blow it out.
One big challenge for me was dealing with glare on the glasses; positioning the lights to alleviate the glare.
Any input, critique, or advice is greatly appreciated.
