Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Hi Jack, thanks for sharing, love the 2nd photo! Day lighting is the best for portraits. Have you used 85mm lens?
Hi Aleksandr,
Thank you for kind words!
It was my Canon 70-200mm with a Canon 5D Mark ii, but i like using my 85mm. For that shoot i was in a rush because that agency had 80 kids to shoot one after another and i had 6 minutes per kid! I know it's pretty crazy! I do that agent's clients every year. Since i was in a rush i used my Canon 70-200mm to be able to zoom rapidly, so i could take different crops. I have a french tutorial on tuto.com called 6 Minute Portrait, taken from my 6 minute per kid experience. ;-)
80 kids...I bet you've lost a few kgs :). I know how hard is to make kid to trust and smile you... but for sure you love what you do. And, you are doing well!!
Thank you Aleksandr! :-) After 8 hours and 80 kids i'm drained and feel like the 70-200mm weight 50 pounds lol
Great, specially second one 👍👍 /// Moi Lee - www.instagram.com/moileee
