Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Google Peter Hurley, Garry Hughes, Jordan Matter and start encouraging your friends to beef up their linked-in profiles with lovely headshots from you.
Even more importantly, is there any sign that your local region will provide an adequate amount of work for you?
Your lighting is solid but your expression which is just as important is a bit flat. If you haven't already, check out Peter Hurley's education as he is a master at coaching.
That's a really good selfie. I often take selfies after I have setup my lights, just to test everything. You will always have a flat expression in selfies, because there is no one behind the camera to communicate with.
I am also starting a headshot business right now. I think the most important thing to have when getting started is a lot of subjects. I tell people that I will wave my shooting fee and shoot them for free, however, if they want the digital prints or actual prints they can buy what they want from my website/store.
How has this approach been working for you?
