What is good?

Gear: Sony A7II, Zeiss Batis 85,
Lighting: 2 x YN560 II, 1 camera right in a 50 cm x 50 cm soft box, 1 camera left and behind subject, providing rim light.

I really like it. Nice composition, contrast, and lighting. Good job!

Looks pretty good, but the Elmer's Glue white eyes looks even more retouched in a black and white. Nice lighting and pose. Well done.

I agree with the white eyes, definitely something I should look out for and tone it down :-)
I always struggle with the white of the eye, not sure what is a happy place. To retouch eyes I use PS new layer with overlay blend mode @ 50% opacity and then brush on the eyes with low flow (5%), I keep the opacity of the brush at about 80%. Any suggestions here?

Dan you raised some very good points, this model actually asked me for 5 shots, and this is the last of the 5. The first two are full body, sitting and standing and in color, for the other three, he wanted to go for a little bit more dramatic and monochrome.

I do have a question, is the use of F1.8 too shallow for editorial/ main headshot purposes, should I use a higher F stop next time around?
