Self-Portrait Attempt 2
Second attempt at a self portrait, using a yonguno flash with a beautydish as my main light, then a small led panel as a edge light with a reflector as a bit of a fill.

I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.

An afternoon out on the water
It was mid September late in the afternoon, a group of sailboats were out on the water enjoying the weather, there was a soft breeze blowing, pushing on the sails.

Well that looks MUCH better than the first one.
Your look is a bit sleepy though, and usually one would brighten up the eyes in post processing.
I would also soften the extreme shades on the left side of the face a bit.
I think the shaddow is to harsh, it might have worked with black & white but for color, I don't know. Perhaps have a reflector to iluminate the left side of your face and the neck?
Also the smile, I would do it without, and yeah the look should be more alert, perhaps even a bit aggressive.
