Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Hi Rafal, I might crop further down on her head to add a bit more intimacy. Personally, I like the wide aspect ratio and the negative space you've chosen.
Thank You for your comment.... You are absolutely right that should be cropped a bit more but I was really struggling with this one as the hair add so much to the image ... Thank you for feedback ...its always to good to hear other people opinion.
PLEASE, don't 😁 instead just crop portrait [that's what the name stands for] or use square. Nice one though!!👍
Sounds great...and THANK YOU!
actually I love it as it is ... its beautiful and well framed
Thank You Savvas!
I love the shot but the black hair lit more to one side gives it a somewhat pointedness ...My suggestion is to use Selection ellipse or circle then add a small black space above her head that would shape it better... and the visual disconnect would compliment your composition and leave the hair at length..... also the elongated head adds nothing to the composition
