Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Nice, his eye is not too distracting, and the horizon cutting his head in half is actually kind of interesting here.
thanks for taking the time out to review
Very good picture, you cached the right face expresion. The upper background a bit overexposed, but not by too much.
I'm not finding the eye distracting either. I don't know what the situation was and if you had any other gear at hand or assistants, but I would either add a white bounce reflector on camera right or a black one on camera right (just out of frame). But it's a nice portrait.
