Any of you use a green screen in the studio for background replacement? I do OK extracting against white when it's a fully sharp image, but when I'm doing a shallow depth of field shoot it doesn't work as well.

You really have to get your model far away from the green screen to protect from color casts, and with a shallow depth of field you will always have a hard time separating the user from whatever background since the edges of the person will not be sharp. You can hit the model with kicker/rim lights to help with the separation, but truly, in the end you have to shoot at about f4 to make like on you easier. My two cents....and I have only done what you are referring to 4 or 5 times.
