Hey Thomas, I like the light you've got on her, and the close crop focuses our attention on her face. I'd like to see you get rid of the necklaces, either during the shoot or in post, in order to keep the focus on her. Overall, nicely done.
Hiya Thomas. Nice image. What this shot says to me is you've paid A LOT of attention to getting the technicals right. No shadows in the wrong places, dumpsters in the background, lighting under control etc etc. Everything is "pleasant".
However, what I've had reinforced from this shot is how we the shooters, have got to get a vibe going, something EXTRA from the sitter. Something to bring some energy into the moment.
When that happens, boom! EVERYTHING changes for the better. I suspect that's what Dylan Thomas & Peter Hurley's 'banter' is all about. If you got one of those in this session, even though there might have been a few things you didn't like, could you put it up too?
All things equal, a good shot.
Thanks Thomas

hey Greg, thanks, I appriciate your comment very much, and, you are absolutely right about anything you mentioned. let me say it like this, I just started this headshot thing and I'm very happy to get positive feedbacks like yours and Greg Thomason's. I'm quite happy to get the technical things working well - I need a lot of space because I'm shooting with an APSC camera - and within the next maybe 100 headshots I hope my coaching and interacting with my models will step a little bit forward.
thanks Greg
