I got this picture after a running of the Kentucky Derby of a jockey who finished dead last in the race.
There was just something about that look on his face, mixed with that dirt and grime. He wasn't riding a favorite, or even a low odds horse, but I still felt like I could see that hint of defeat in a time of great victory for others.
