Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Personally, I like th 4th one since the facial expression is more natural and the flowers are in harmony with the color of those behind her.
I think the posing in the 5th one, is more adult-ish and maybe not fit her that much. Also, it seems that she's not comfortable in the 2nd scene looking to the light source.
first of all thx a lot for your comment & kind words ....you are right about all except the second one may be she wasnt comfy cuz of something else, the light source was on the other side ...here in the middle east being a kid trying to act childish is kinda cute XDXD ... but thanks again
Last one does look best, the rest look a little blown out, maybe?
thanks a lot for commenting , i dont really know i have tried to focus , as u see her eyes are sharp in all pics ... but it seems kinda blurry " the whole face " ... may be the lens isnot that sharp .. may be also cuz of my shaky hand .. my shutter speed was kinda high so i dont really know what is the problem .. hope i would findout in other session
Thank you for posting your work! Perhaps you might try increasing your depth of field using a smaller aperture. That could help with the "whole face" fuzzyness.
thanks a lot for commenting, i reall didnt notice the affect of using wide aperture except after i got the images out of the cam .. thats what i decided to do:) thanks again
