Hey guys! This is my first time posting in this group and I'm excited to hear everyones feedback! These are three of my most recent headshots (second photo is a self portrait) and I'm curious if you see anything I could improve on. Thanks guys!
I like where you put the light and their poses and looks are fine.
On a white background I would prefer lighter coloured clothing. The black shirts are IMO hard and distracting here. If you use light clothes on white and darker clothes on dark, the focus is more on the faces. It's also easier that way to get your exposure right and it brings more shape in the bodies.
Nice. I think you’re shooting a tad too high. For headshots I think they should be straight on. You can generally tell how high you are by how much much of the top of the shoulders you can see.

Thank you! That's actually a really useful tip that I hadn't considered about the lighter colored shirts on white backgrounds.
