I don't really want to specialize in headshots but I would love to develop a strong base so that they can be something I can confidently offer. I only have one light and a small room to shoot in at the moment. Her hair was quite difficult and still bothers me. Besides that, I'd love some comments. Thanks!

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.
These photos were taken just outside of a small town in central Portugal.

Given the technical constraints and that you don't want to specialize, I only can only recommend to work on the the emotions they are showing.
One is extremely happy (is that what want)?
The other expression might be a little bit disturbing - as per the size of the subject's eyes and also because they are red.
The button stretching the clothes in the second image bothers me a little too.
