A local, non-profit opera company asked me to do headshots of their board members for their new website. I had some challenges with the lighting and am still learning post-processing. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

In this one, having her lean forward made a huge difference!
The lean definitely helps! Having a client leaning towards you is a great tool, both have nice expressions, compositionally I would have framed them camera left here but that's just me also I'm not sure as I'm on my phone here but I think the skin tones feel a little cool or pasty, maybe warm them up a little. The kicker for the girl above with the red hair might have been just a little hot and did you use a gel for the light? It's a tad too much color for my tastes but that could have been what you or them wanted. Solid lighting, keep it up and keep em coming!
