Great shot, lighting is excellent. However i think you went overboard with your saturation. Also, be careful with sharpening the eyes. Sharp eyes are good but if it's too much, it can also be considered a distraction. Also be careful with skin smoothing. if you can invest on color calibration tools, i would recommend getting one. Keep shooting. You're off with a good start.

Here is what I am thinking and I hope I don't sound mean because I am basing on my own experience:

Be careful about putting models on a pedestal while undervaluing yourself. You describe her as a professional model but her pose and (lack of) expression really look like this is her first photo shoot. Whether that is the case or not, if you can form a connection with your subject, she will look confident and experienced--pro model or newbie.

So what I'm getting at is YOU as the photographer ALWAYS have to be in control of the session and no matter how beautiful the model is, you need to be able to direct her and laugh with her and just get her to relax and forget about the cameras and lights etc.

The model, and anyone else on set expects the photographer to be confident and take the lead. If they sense you are nervous then they get tense and the shoot gets really uncomfortable. But if you're confident, the model will see that and give you 100% energy.

Oh and you will gain more confidence the more you shoot. So shoot as much as you can. You're shot is technically very good and I like the colors and bokeh :)

nice shot! excellent skin color. you can push the lavender in PS but overall excellent.
