Earlier this week I did some headshots for my fiancée; this was my first time trying my hand at the cinematic style that Dylan Patrick does. It was raining out so had to shoot inside with the sliding doors leading to the pool area open. Please let me know what you all think of these two looks.

The white lines are the supports for the pool enclosure, but I see your point that they are distracting and take away from the cinematic feel.
I prefer people to have a warmer look, so I added that to the shots, but maybe it was a little too much. I shoot a Nikon, had the color control set to portrait.
Post processing of skin is definitely an area that I need to study more and work on. As cropping, the first one is not, and the second shot was cropped a little on the top to take out the top of the door frame.
Again, thanks for the constructive feedback, will take all that into account the next time I shoot and edit.
