What if a Brand copy a your photo concept in Instagram? Need feedback

Today I discover @nikewomen in IG post a photo concept pretty close to a my photo published 3 months ago. (Same angle, same location, same mood)

Do you think I should do something or what? Any feedback will appreciate since I am new to these type of situation.

I don't know, personally I can see where you can see a connection but "people look bored while waiting for takeaway food" is a pretty common emotion and they could have easily come across it themselves with the location just an amazing coincidence. Having said that, if you could see that their concept artist had like your original image, then maybe you've got more of a link.

I definitely think there is nothing to go on here. At that very most, they liked the location and used it. Those photos are very different, I didn't even identify it was the same spot at first.

Thanks 🙏🏼

Agreed, not much you can do here. Be careful though, I met with an agency (a very large, well known agency) once about doing work for Starbucks, we threw some ideas around, they said they were gonna get with the rest of the team and we'd go from there and I never heard from them again. 2 months later Starbucks started posted the images we had talked about.

I've had that happen too. It's tough to share enough of an idea to get them interested, but no so much that they can do it themselves.

Have Fun,
Jeff

I agree with what the other users said, but I believe that you will like this article:
