This is like a mile from my house. I woke up one morning to this perfect storm and had to get a shot of it! I didn't have a lot of time so I went to a spot just behind and my house and it turned out way better than what I thought it would. I want to know what people who are not my Facebook friends think of this one. Please let me know!! I'll return the favor!
The sky is interesting, Is this a composite image? Because the sky looks like along exposure but you have lightning? You need to level that horizon and I don't think you need so much foreground. Some more work in post and this could be a nice image.
Its actually not a composite image, it was just a 90 second exposure. The time in the morning this storm rolled through was once in a lifetime. Its interesting you guys bring up the horizon I actually hadn't noticed it. I used my in camera level and I think the desert landscape is just making it look weird, I'll definitely play around with that though. and I also had never though of giving a nice crop, that would definitely look really good. The sky is very interesting.
But sorry to say, I feel I am bit confused about the main subject here.
I would fix the horizon line and a foreground element would have added depth to the image.
Its just my opinion. :)
