Well the fast answer is yes, ofcause you can sell it online - but can you make a business out of it and live from it?
I'm not so much looking for advices on photography, as much as on the business part of it?
- An easy website for the user is ofcause a must.
- SEO
- AdWords is optional, but should work if you can target the audience.
- What else to do?
Let's start up some experiencesharing :)
I'll let you know if I ever sell anything lol
Everything is possible so yes you can live with your photo on website. Basics steps are of course a clean commercial website with a unique touch that can show that you're different from the others. Also promote yourself A LOT to be well-know and recognize like get a blog, inspire other amateur photographers.
So in conclusion only photos to sell should a be too light if youhavent got develop any others aspects like around your city or do some pro shooting to get more experience and know where you want to go :)
As in art prints? I don't think you can make a living at it until you make a name for yourself and you will not do that with a website alone. You need to start locally in galleries and also sell online.
Once you create a market for your work the. You could sell online.
