I like the composition, also the beautiful colors you have captured. Personally, I think you should have used a more wider f-stop, so the lights will be more out of focus.
Thanks Jeffrey! This was one of the first photos I took with the lens that I got for Christmas, which is shot at f/2.8. Unfortunately, that's the largest aperture I have. As for the colors, I really tried to capture that soft rainbow reflection on the ornament, how did i do with that?
One possible workaround to this is to stretch the branch further away from the tree to give greater distance between the ornament and the lights therefore improving bokeh, also condider placing the ornament a tiny bit right to improve balance
