Great B/W!! I think this image has a lot of potential, especially in b/w. But for me, the clouds are a bit too bright and get too much of the attention as my eye gets drawn in there. I'd maybe get a bit more contrast in the snowy areas, and pull the highlights in the clouds down a tad. But not too much as the weather makes a bit part of the image!
Hey Patrick! Thanks for your comment! The longer I look at the sky the more I realise that it draws too much attention. The funny thing is that I have already added a GDN. I think I will work with some brushes and see what I get.
Or just work with the color panels you have in most b/w converters.. Make the blues a tad darker there. Influence the lightness of the greens and the whites a bit and you should get a decent result (;

I agree with Patrick. a GND on the sky might work some magic.
