Temps are warming here in the Midwest so I went out on a camera walk to see what was going on in the local woods and came across this scene. The color contrast caught my eye and a simple thing becomes an abstract nature image. Just wanted to share my find with you all. Best...Mike

Just a heads up for anyone that may be interested (and as things are slow in the group.....).
This female has arrived at Hamerton. This place rescues animals from all over the world, mainly endangered species, and they breed when they can.
I've photographed Ady a few times now. We get better each time as a team. This image was a fave from our latest session. I hope you like it to.

I actually find it quite neat and pleasing to look at - even though I find the photo quite simple :)
Really like this Mike! As you say, the colours and contrast are great and it's a pleasing image. simple but composed nicely. Rule of thirds with most of the leaves as the foreground?
