Hi Stefano. I like the patterns of the sand surface below the water. But I think your image is a bit empty, would be nice with a solid focus point.
I like the colours and the exposure you have used :)
Thank you for the feedback Mikkel. I wanted to take the sunset and with a 16mm it was difficult to frame more mountains on the left. On that composition, can you suggest something I can do in PP?
I don't think you can do anything in PP, your PP is just fine - I like the mood and colours of the sunset. I think you would need a subject in your image, a rock or something. I guess the picture is from spring/summer time? I think it would be awesome to have some iceblocks, but maybe that's another beach on Island?
You're welcome mate - I really like the photo, it's a beautiful sunset. But it would be nice with an object and I'm pretty sure others would say the same :)
Ah okay, well Iceland is bigger than you sometimes imagine. I hope to go there at winter time this year :)
I was 15 days in August with a 4x4 sleeping in tent and hostels booking day by day. I did the entire ring plus the INCREDIBLE westfjords plus Landmannalaugar. For any information don't esistate to ask :)
This is nice, and I agree with Mikkel, it might benefit from a subject. On beaches like this one, there is sometimes driftwood, rocks or other things that stand out. I sometimes even allow myself to make footprints in the wet sand that give an idea of presence in the photo. But I love the texture and colors.
Hi Stefano - there is one thing you might try. Crop the shot tighter taking out some of the foreground and the side (left or right) The sunset will still be the main as the eye is drawn to the brighter part of the shot, but it will look more full. This shot is by no means a failure and can still be made better with a better crop. Try drawing it up from the left bottom corner, or right bottom corner - to your taste. Just my two cents.

Thank you. Yes, it's august. And the beach you're mentioning is Jokulsarlon beach, on the other side of the Iceland more or less ;)

Thank you Tryggvi..I used this technique of making footprints during my last travel in the Lofoten Islands ;)

Interesting point of view Mike..probably the less interesting part of the image is the lower left corner. I'll try
