Kirkjufellsfoss

Never in my life did I imagine I would go to Iceland to photograph the incredibly beautiful and varied landscape. I had seen so many awesome shots on the Fstoppers community site that really changed my mind about going to Iceland. My mother asked out of the blue if I was interested in going to Reykjavik and I thought what the heck why not. I hopped on a standby flight with her and there we were, hanging out in Iceland. After a few days she went home and I continued my journey around the country alone. Being alone allowed me to spend hours and hours getting the shots I wanted. This shot was just after midnight at Kirkjufellsfoss. I had seen so many photos of it, and actually being there was absolutely wonderful. Take a look and feel free to provide constructive criticism. Thank you.

I Think the Composition is great, the blend is good.....tiny halo around the mountain, (probably from sharpening, nothing to get worked up over), i feel that the foreground has a blue colour cast, but that doesn't mean it wrong, just my opinion :)..great image over all, hope I'm lucky enough to get there some day

I really like where you have shot this one from, great location
