I was able to get my aging knees to carry me the six mile trek down into the Grand Canyon for this sunrise view of Plateau Point. We stayed at the Indian Gardens campground, and hiked out to the viewpoint at 4:30 AM the next morning. Hauled my Nikon D800 and a couple lenses and tripod down in the backpack. Going down wasn't so bad, but trucking the gear out the 3000 foot vertical rise was a lesson in weight management. Nikon D800, 1/15, f/13, iso 200.
just be careful with cropping the bush in the foreground like that. but nice shot tho. was it an HDR?
