Great Sand Dunes National Park

When I got to the dunes at nominal sunrise it was completely socked in -- foggy and cold. I walked out into the dunes away, then it started snowing, and I got disoriented (visibility was zero) and ended up taking about four times as long to get back to the car as I thought it would.

Spent the day driving around and doing a little hiking in the Sangre de Cristos, then came back to the dunes about 90 minutes before sunset. Hiked in, away from the footprints, as the snow from the morning was melting off. The sun moved from behind a cloud as it set and all of a sudden all the shadows just lit up and things got amazing.

This is my first contribution to this site. I would love critique on composition, post-processing, anything at all. Thanks!
