Michael Bouchaert's picture

Amateur photographer, Milkyway Feedback please

Here's a picture i took in northern France, not far from the Belgian border. in the back you see a city lighting up the incoming clouds.
this was on a hil with no trees and there was a city on my right, at the foot of the hill, thats why light hits the chappel.
I see alot of milkywaypictures that are overdone, have unnatural colours or have weird shapes to them.
I was wondering what the community thinks about my take on the milkyway/astrophotography, im pretty happy with this shot, but obviously there's (always) room for improvement.
let me know what can be done better if you want and/or rate it.
thankzzzzz

Great shot! Congratulations!!!

Thank you!

Amazing. I really love the shot. There is not much to improve here. I would say you could have exposed the milky way a little longer for a bit more punch but that is debatable really.

thank you for your feedback, i was actually allready a little over my maximum possible exposure so exposing even longer would cause the stars to start trailing.
