Ok here's my capture of the recent Supermoon 11/14/16 here in Las Vegas. Went way west to the top of Red Rock Casino so I can be up high for a clear view of the valley. The moon didn't come up where I expected it too, but at least I was able to center it above the Queensridge Towers. This is the closets Supermoon until 2034. Enjoy! :) C & C always appreciated.
There's a lot to like here, especially the various "layers" in the foreground as you move from front to back. So many moon pictures lack the context of being in a specific place; this doesn't.
Two quibbles: I'm not sure about the moon being perfectly centered over the building, and I'm not sure about the (raised roadway?) that seems to cut the image in half ... maybe it should've been higher or lower. Or maybe it works if you lighten the dark areas just above it. Or darken the bottom half of the image.
