I've been in a bit of a slump lately and couldn't get my images to what I wanted to do. I read a ton of articles on here and other websites and decided that I need to take more time to think when I shoot. I crazily decided to go to the beach in the middle of winter. (It's about 15 degrees in this photo, Fahrenheit). I waited for the sun to set to get the golden light as I fought heavy winds and the nerves of my camera being attacked by sand and snow. I was wearing so much clothing that every step felt like a mile. Finally, the sun made a last ditch effort to peak through the clouds and I ended up with this
