I think that most of us probably have at least one place in mind that we can go to for some landscape exploration and photographing. For me, in Southern Utah, that place is Zion National Park. I live about 45 minutes away from the park and so it is frequently a go-to spot for my weekend adventures.
I would love to hear from you. What are some of your favorite places, local to you, to go hiking/photographing/exploring?
My "go-to" local landscape location is Sparks Lake. I've never been disappointed by that place, and it's a mere 30 minutes from my home in central Oregon.
I love it! Oregon is at the top of my list of places to visit. I can't wait to go see some of these views in person! These shots of yours are phenomenal!!
Thanks, Rex. Check before coming to make sure our wildfires are out because for the entire summer we've been socked in by smoke from wildfires from throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada. I have not been able to go out on a photoshoot all summer but for one productive trip to the Oregon coast.
About an hour away is Pen y Fal and the Brecon Beacons.
A field just a few min drive away in Kansas from my house. For the two weeks that the sunflowers bloom, it is a breathtaking place to be. https://fstoppers.com/photo/145550
Hello, I live in Portugal and it is not my "Go to" place, but definitely I will visit it more times, this was my first visit in this past weekend :)
I live in the mountains of North Georgia. All I have to do is look around, and I have an amazing scene.
