This is a sunrise view over one of the biggest european lake, the Leman Lake in switzerland.
In october the sunrises next to the lake are so peaceful especially on a sunday morning.
in summer this place is totally crowed by people searching some refreshment.
One other advantage of sunrise in winter, you don't have to wake up as early in summer, some hours more of sleep are always better to find the right composition ! :D
Beautiful pic, love the tones and atmosphere.
Thank you Chris !
It is a lovely scene, well captured if a little flat/dark. The leaves on the foreground rock? Just a bit too many. Removing two or three, and maybe making one a little crumpled or torn would make them appear more convincing.
Hello Stev,
Thanks for the comment ! :) Yes I'm not totally happy with these leaves, it's always complicated to find the right balance with the position and the number, I didn't wanted something totally organized too.¨
Have a nice day.
"you don't have to wake up as early in summer" Eheheh absolutely. Where is this? Looks like... Uh... Seriously, no idea. Could be anywhere between Vevey and Morges... :D I mean, there are many places with rocks and piers, etc. But the right side is kinda confusing - there's much less artificial light than expected. :D
The only area i know whithout so much light is between Nyon and Allaman, but... Is that possible? It seems that i have a geographical problem in my head.. :D
Hello, c'est sur la plage de Préverenges à côté de Lausanne ;)
Aah mais bien sûr.. La grande plage :)
