Would really appreciate your feedback here. Both taken this year in January. The reflection shot is from an Fuji X-T1 and the other from an iPhone 6+. Slightly different workflows on Snapseed on my phone.

I like both from the point of view of composition. I prefer the reflection shot, though it is a bit more contrasty than I tend to like. The iPhone shot seems very indistinct in the foreground, and the contrast between the gray area in shadow and the stark white of Half Dome seems almost unnatural (not in a good way). If you could lift the shadows a bit in the lower half of the image, I think it would feel more like it is all the same image.
