I work i Abisko i Sweden during the whinter season, so I get to see a lot of auror and I hade to see if the aurora works as a black and white photo. I think it works as a black and white photo.

I'm torn. Your foreground is amazing in B&W. But even if we can recognize an aurora in the sky, the lack of color is a pity for such a phenomenon.
It's just my opinion and the pics are great anyway.
Thanks for the comment. Yes I can understand that the lack of color can be a problem. When I did it B&W and lookt at it in color it look really over saturateted ;-)

Better in color. How about desaturat the snow and ice? Would make it look crisp and clean
To me aurora shots looks better in color. But I understand you may like it different. :)
