Typically seeing the eyes is very important, obviously not always but in most cases. I think the last photo is the most interesting to me but overall none of them personally catch my attention.
I agree the last image is probably the best. I really disliked the brown however, maybe if you're able to change the colour to something which contrasts the bird to the background would be much better. Also if there isn't that much colour already, there is always black and white! Wildlife is always unpredictable so I wouldn't worry about not getting the shot you wanted.
The choice of shutter speed IMO has left the image in the middle of a styling choice. Either faster to freeze the rain drops and shake of the bird or slower to blur and allow for a more abstracted interpretation. I too like the 3rd photo best.
