Nice soft side lighting to show the texture, the plant in the lower third makes it interesting, like the sliver of sky up top.
Wondering how this will look in monochrome
Here is a b&w version, I think I like the color better. I appreciate the feedback.
I'm not sure if I like the sky included in the image, if I am honest. Makes me wonder if it would look better as just the plant with the sand in the background - maybe a square crop?

I like the color more but I wish there was just a tiny bit more space between the edges and the plant. Not much. This might even be too much, just an example.

I cropped the picture just a little bit in order to get rid of a plant that was bugging me. Here is another version with no cropping on the sides (photoshopped the plant out). I appreciate the feedback.

This is great image. My only adjustment would be to get rid of all clouds expect the far left group. Raise that group in the sky a little to help balance out against the tree. Would be very happy to have it in my folio :)
