I love it. I have also been trying to perfect my landscapes. So will comment on what I have been doing. I have found that there is a lot of variance in tastes with the amount of slow shutter. Ie some people like quite not so slow shutter in order to see slightly more texture and you may want to shoot several different shutters to check out yourself. I have also used focused stacking, ie used focusing of three shots, in this stance, on the background, middle and foregrounds and then blending images together in photoshop, to make everything in focus - in your instance I would love to see the stones in focus. In your existing image, I love the greenery, and would see what your histogram says with the water - you may want to bring in down slightly with either the white slider or just with the paintbrush and a layer in photoshop. Lovely colors. I wonder if you got wet?

I took this shot a few months after I started shooting, I have since then learned about photo stacking but it is a good point with this photo. I have messed with the histogram a little trying to get that white to calm down a little but haven't had much luck. As far as me getting wet with this shot, I did not get wet here but up the trail I slipped of a rock and almost took a header into the water. Tank you for you incite.

Wow, if you are new to photography this exceptional.

I am one of many who don't like slow shutter, but the picture is really good. Very good, well except the water.

Nicely done!

It's a really nice long exposure.
Things i would probably change if it was my image: It could be a little bit brighter, place the behind waterfall a bit more on the left to get more room on the right side, maybe try a shorter crop such as 4:5.
