I like it a lot. I don't know if you applied what appears to be a blur during shooting or after. Perhaps it is snowing. There are so many ways to approach commenting without knowing a lot about your shooting. As it is I think increasing the darkness of the trees will make it stand out more. I mean a little tweaking because if you saturate or contrast it too much it will be too dark and you will loose the soft affect of the snow.
Did you hike the mountain or were you staying at a accommodation? I hike high peaks year round and bringing gear is very challenging with the extra weight.
It was snowing and the storm was coming over the ridge, so the trees were vanishing. I did try a darker version, but I liked the look of them being a little more ghostly as the area is mostly burnt from a fire. Made me think of phantom trees. I was actually able to shoot this from down low across the valley. Very little hiking for this one. It's always a challenge debating on how much extra weight to carry in the hills. Thanks for the advice!
I like the simplicity but would have liked to see it not so whitted out
thanks!
