I've been enjoying my summer up in Alaska. I've had the chance to do a bunch of hiking to numerous mountain tops and have been on the hunt for some small alpine flowers for foreground elements. Here is a sunrise and a sunset shot from 2 different mountains overlooking a glacier. The only thing I've come to hate about focus stacking is when flowers move since it makes it tough to keep sharp edges. However I've figured out that with some selections around the crisp edges then cloning some detail, I can keep the sharpness I want in the image.
