This photo was taken 3.30 am at a small pond in a forest in Sweden. The sun was on its way up but the fog was still thick in the landscape. A very strong experience to stand in the calm nature with only bird sound and nothing else...
I would really appreciate feed-back on the photo, both technical and artistic.

Nicely captured. Your words add to the experience of the photograph. They say a picture replaces a thousand words but sometimes words help.I have taken beautiful sunset photos in tropical northern australia. In some of those shots I wouldn't add"but I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes!" Without the words your pic is still a peaceful serene shot.
Thanks a lot for your kind comment. We certainly have a lot of mosquitos here in Sweden as well but for some reason not at this place...
Very pretty! I would probably try to retrieve a bit more detail in the dark spots, like the trees on the left and right edge of the photo. Still, love the colours and the gentle mist rising from the pond!

I was thinking the same thing. Really like this photo but that extra detail in those trees would have made it complete.
