I was shooting some insane colors right before sun rise off the coast of Acadia, ME.
Was shooting wide angle and this cruise ship got into my shot. Quickly switched to a 100-400mm lens to grab this silhouette.
Shot at a higher iso for faster SS and the added grain.
So glad I packed heavy and had my telephoto zoom handy.
Damn, I'm having a hard time telling what is cloud and what is sunset! Haha I like the lights on the boat, though the orange could be toned down in lightroom
Thanks. The orange is as intense as it was seen, so I let it be.
I love the symmetry with the dark sky and the water.
I might try to carefully lighten up some details on the ship and water.
Then rotate by 180° for some surreal inception moment :D
