I love the idea and find them a quite cool and somewhat funny contrast to the typical yellow rain jacket you see in Iceland.
The first image has too much saturation for my taste. I feel like you could make the red cape pop out a bit more by lowering the greens.
2nd one is my favorite because i love the red on black contrast. It's one of my personal color combinations. But I feel like there is room for improvement on composition and posing. His (your?) pose seems a bit awkward, like he's rushing somewhere. The explorer pose in the first one is more fitting.
Also he could stand out a bit more, either by different camera angle or different positioning.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, Maximilian. I took them last year and looking at them now, I exactly share the same opinion. Being the model and the photographer, posing was quite challenging since I sat the timer and jumpped into the frame, lol.
