Thank you Geoff, i captured some video however, my hiking mate slipped nearly 5 feet away from a 30 foot drop during recording. I had to grab him or he would went over. We were so shook we just got down and left.
Those sort of experiences can shake you up. I nearly came to an end in Tasmania while taking a pic early in my photographic journey.I was standing on a log alongside a considerable drop to a road below. My wife had already told me not to stand there.I slipped and she managed to grab my camera strap and steady me as I was about to plunge over.My footprint was on the other side of the log next to the drop.
Well done. I love the sound of waterfalls like this when you are there. That's why I would usually have some video to capture the sound.
