Nice record of your photo walk Rus. Very relaxing doing this sort of thing and just spotting images as you go.In the top one if I had 2 kids with me I would be looking for something similar to the iconic image of Eugene Smith.

You're right, this photo is definitely missing a human element and maybe in the future I'll be able to redo it.
These photos are very simple, and yet so interesting. I love the use of DOF. Even without a human element, they have a very quiet atmosphere to them. Perhaps it's because I live in a city with 9 million people, but these seem like a nice relaxing slice of life or local beauty series.
Thank you! I wasn't sure about using an 85mm lens for landscapes and nature shots but I actually liked it a lot. I am lucky enough to live close to the mountains and a lot of good spots.
