heres this mornings results i liked some of the location but not all had a great deal to offer. back out tomorrow for another round. give it to me straight so i know what I'm doing wrong.
I like the top and second one Joseph but I get tired of the soft flowing waterfalls etc.posted by many. Once we have mastered that I think it's good to move on. When there is water going over a fall etc. there is action and sound and urgency. Slowing everything down might give a sense of serenity but it is not real. Ok if we want escapism I guess. The bottom one I would have liked to have seen and heard in real time.
I am glad you are mastering it Joseph. To tell you the truth you are ahead of me in that one. I have never sat down to really create a blurry waterfall shot. I met a guy back in the film days who was an amateur but he had some amazing waterfall shots.I probably thought I should do it one day. I have taught others how to do it but only taken a couple myself.I particularly like the moodiness of the top shot.
thanks Geoff always appreciate your feedback..i took several angles of that particular bridge only one is starting to grow on me which is the one added below
I think you are getting better! That first shot is quite good, I love the mood, it’s more unique than a sunrise could ever be. Your use of foreground elements and leading lines is getting stronger as well. I really like the angle of the waterfall you got on the last one. Keep up the good work!
thanks john i appreciate it, i only get the weekend mornings to shoot so i'm reviewing during the week to see what i could do differently. I'm definitely enjoying the journey!
