this is a little lighthouse in our neighborhood and I tried to capture it during the sunset.

there is some work to be done here a little faded and you have a lot of haloing. the subject matter isn't the greatest. would have been nice to have an old school light house rather than a star wars guard tower

thanks for your comment, in these days I am trying to learn blending multiple exposures and your comment helped me to see some brush mistakes. I will try to fix them on my psd file. For the light house, ı know that is not a good example of interesting element but As Cristopher mentioned this is the closest one to my house to practice.

practice makes perfect did you try masking off the background instead of the foreground to make your adjustments to reduce the halo effects

That might work, I will practice on it.

Very nice. I love the long exposure on the water, and the color of the sky.

To Joseph's point: Would an old lighthouse be cool? Sure. However, that's not what was in your neighborhood, and I think you did a great job with the subject you had.

My only critique would be the difference in exposure from the top of the lighthouse to the bottom. The silhouette of the top looks great against the sky, but it sticks out to me in contrast to the base of the tower as being a pretty obvious photoshop tell. Top and bottom of the tower should be the same unless there is an answer for the extra light at the bottom, such as a lamp post or something along those lines.

I checked the exposure on the light house again and in each photo ı have differences between up and down part of the lighthouse, But of course brush mistakes that I made, makes the difference easy to see. Thank you for your comment, I will try to my best again on editing part.

I agree with what Joseph said. There is Haloing in the picture but I like the composition more than what it looks like. The water color looks a little over saturated (try to reduce a little bit) and the exposure on the ground looks a bit too much.

I will try them, thank you!
